Use /mocap recording start to start recording yourself. Message should appear informing you that mod is waiting for action. Perform any action (like going forward or rotating head) or use command again to actually start recording.

When you want to finish recording use /mocap recording stop. It will stop recording, but won't save it. Use /mocap recording save [insert name here] to save recording or use /mocap recording stop to discard recording (without saving it).

To replay saved recording use /mocap playback start [recording name].

These are four most basic commands.

Recording different player

When playing multiplayer you may sometimes want to record actions of another player. You can specify what player you want to record with optional argument to "recording start" command - /mocap recording start [player name or selector].

Playback as different player

By default, playback will start with your player name and skin. To change player name and skin use optional argument of "playback start" command - /mocap playback start [recording name] [player name]. You can hide player name by setting it to "". More options of skin customization will be described later in this guide.
